The form was inspired by the eroded channels in the Hvar coastline, where the sea has spent millennia sculpting the land into fluid, undulating contours. Echoing this natural process, each piece is meticulously hand-carved, a slow and deliberate transformation that allows the material to dictate its final form.

The finish is an exploration of transitions—where lacquer meets raw wood, sometimes with a crisp definition, other times with a soft, feathered edge, much like the way water gradually smooths stone over time. This balance between control and organic evolution celebrates the artistry and patience required to bring such a piece to life, inviting a deeper appreciation of both the material and the craft behind it.
