FLUID SCREEN

Seventy-two translucent Parian porcelain leaves are suspended within a freestanding ash or Douglas fir frame, forming a sculptural room divider that casts captivating shadows and soft light. Each leaf is individually poured onto custom plaster moulds, capturing fluid motion in ceramic form. Variations in the pouring process and metal oxides mixed into the slip create subtle shifts in colour and ensure every piece is unique.

Fired once at 1260°C, the porcelain develops a natural lustre and translucency without glaze. Copper oxide produces a gentle green hue, while other oxides offer a range of custom colour washes. The leaves can also be configured as wall-mounted or free-standing panels, offering versatility across formats and spaces.
