Jihyun Kim is a South Korean Ceramic Designer, currently based in East London.

Jihyun Kim began her ceramic practice in 2016 in South Korea before moving to London to pursue a Master’s degree in Ceramics and Glass. Her work uniquely blends sculptural and functional elements, drawing inspiration from her cultural heritage and the mystical qualities of nature. Her exploration of organic forms, especially fungi, infuses her pieces with magical narratives, inviting viewers to discover magic in the mundane. With meticulous attention to detail and a fusion of artistic form and utility, Jihyun's ceramics transcend the ordinary, embodying a harmonious blend of tradition and imagination.
