Oliver Hawkes’ work is focused on details and manufacturing, treading a line between handcrafted and high-tech processes. Coming from an architectural background, his works are highly functional, readable, and spatially responsive. Using simplified forms and material junctions, Oliver’s pieces let the process of making create the narrative of each object. Oliver has slowly built a collection of work starting in 2020, with each new object being part exploration into a new technique or process, part refinement of his functional design language.
