ATELIER KORBO

Atelier Korbo is a London-based furniture studio founded in 2024 by Dex Vallon. The practice creates one-off pieces that sit between function and sculpture. Influenced by classical architecture, mid-century French and Japanese design, and quiet moments of atmosphere, the studio’s work is rooted in traditional joinery and a deep sensitivity to material. Each piece is made slowly - shaped by hand from solid timber, then finished using multiple layers of natural oils and waxes. Whether a private commission or part of the studio’s evolving collection, every object is produced one at a time in the London workshop. For Atelier Korbo, craft is a form of care - a quiet alternative to fast production, and a way to create objects with presence and permanence.
