In May 2025, we hosted the launch of the Hollow Stool at W2 Store — a new design by Glasgow-based maker Neal Cameron. Made from spalted beech and built by hand in his Glasgow workshop, the stool explored repetition, structure and the natural character of timber.

The event marked the first in a new partnership between Slancha and W2 Store, created to spotlight contemporary design from across Scotland. Together, we're building space for thoughtful, material-led work — and the people behind it.
